Medical Cannabis at Inflection Point: Policy, Science, What Comes Next
In the past year, we've seen more and more examples of how we need to get back to basics in terms of the #medicalcannabis arena. Most states have "started" legislation efforts by ensuring their states are operating a legal medical program, but in preparation for the "money shot" of adult-use legalization.
Unfortunately, #patients can get left behind or the product mixes cater more to THC chasers and the HIGH, rather than the medical purposes so many have turned to cannabis. Cannabis Business Times reported that the gap to ensure medical cannabis is taken seriously is closing - albeit slowly.
The article points out several things that we've been grappling with for the past several years - one primary issue emerges - the need for #clinician training in #cannabismedicine.
